Marilynne Robinson has been named the winner of the 2009 <a href="http://www.orangeprize.co.uk/show/feature/home/orange-2009-MR-Home">Orange</a> Prize for Fiction for her third novel, <em>Home</em>. Robinson, who joined us at the 27th Key West Literary Seminar this past January, was the unanimous choice of the judges, who cited <em>Home</em> for the "luminous quality" of its writing, as well as its ability "to draw the reader into a world of hope, expectation, misunderstanding, love, and kindness."
